This is a little program that will show you the predicted tide anywhere in the world.
what you see when you run the program.
Although it was writen in the USA, it has pionts all round the UK
I've been using it for years now as a guide to the predicted tide here on the broads.
Important:
As with all tide predictions the times shown are averages and are for guidance only.
The tides are affected by sea, wind & rainfall variations.
They are only a guide and not to be relied upon for navigation.
There is a very long list of places around the world,
check out all the UK positions. the whole of the UK is there.
If you are on the Norfolk broads, check out Gt.Yarmouth it's in the list.
Once you have the program up & running, click on "File" then on "Location" to find the list.
Click on "File" then on "user station". to set up your own spot.
Because of it's ability to be able personalise it for anywhere, you can adapt it
for any place on the Norfolk Broads, or in fact any river, port etc. by altering time delays etc.
For my use I set it up for "Gt.Yarmouth" for crossing Breydon and
"Horning" for when I am on my mooring.
As I have already set it up for "Gt.Yarmouth Yacht Station" and "Horning" you should find them in the list,
possibly right at the end.
The program does a lot more, you can print out tide predictions for future dates, etc. etc.
have a poke around with it and find out for yourself what it can do.
